Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on 14 April1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary education. Ward was a student at Ouachita parish high school for her secondary education. She then moved to River Oaks High School the summer after her senior year. After a short period of time, after graduation she attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward was 13 when she started modeling shortly after leaving school. She moved in New York to pursue this profession. A few years later, she decided to attempt her hand at acting. In the 70s, Ward had a small part that was not credited on the daytime soap All My Children. Then she was offered a brief role on NBC's primetime teen-drama Malibu Shores. The role she was cast in was Meg Cummings, a virgin in Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, she began a film career and starred on The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. This movie, which was initially a financial failure in the cinema, and later on video-on demand (VOD) it became extremely loved. Following the film, Ward played a supporting part in the cult film Shallow Hal. Her other acting credits include numerous direct-to-DVD films and appearances in television series, such as Friends. The character as Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 when she was the mother of a teenage girl in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. The personal side of her life is a union with director David C. Robinson. Together, they have the name of a son, Cameron.
